 Since 2000, Marion Community Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in grants. Its funds address the Marion area's needs in healthcare, the arts, environment, education and economic development.

Scholarships
 In April 2011, Marion Community Foundaiton awarded 99 scholar- ships to 85 local seniors for the 2011-2012 academic year. [See the photos of all the scholars in the right sidebar below.]
The number of scholarship funds and the amount of the scholar- ship awards continue to grow.
