Bebout assumes duties as the foundation’s new president and chief executive officer June 2000 - The foundation selected its first scholarship recipient, Brandi Mooney November 2000 - Cheryl Herbert becomes the new chairwoman of the foundation’s Board of Trustees. The foundation announces its second cycle of community grants
June 2001 - Diana Rinesmith begins duties as the foundation’s administrative assistant November 2001 - Jim Beaver begins his tenure as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees.The foundation also announces its third cycle of community grants November 2002 - Fred Manter begins his tenure as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees. The foundation also announces its fourth cycle of community grants May 2003 - The foundation launches its first-ever website November 2003 - Ted McKinniss begins his tenure as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees. The foundation also announces its fifth cycle of community grants
August 2004 - Marion Community Foundation moved to it's new location, 504 South State St., Marion, Ohio
